Clinic Policies & Guidelines
Welcome to Enhanced Beauty and Wellness Clinic. To ensure we maintain the highest standard of safe, responsible medical care and keep your treatment plans on track, please review our clinic policies below.
1. Prescription Weight Loss Medication Policy
This policy applies to patients receiving weight loss medication by prescription sent directly to a pharmacy (rather than weekly in-office injections or vial pick-up at Enhanced).
To ensure your treatment remains safe, effective, and properly monitored, we require the following compliance schedule:
-
First 6 Months of Treatment: Follow-up appointments are required monthly.
-
After 6 Months: Follow-up appointments will transition to every 3 months (unless your provider recommends more frequent visits based on your individual care plan).
-
Medication Refills: A follow-up appointment must be completed before any refill can be authorized.
Patient Responsibility: It is the patient’s responsibility to schedule these follow-up appointments. If you are due for a refill, please contact our office to schedule your follow-up so we can keep your treatment plan on track. If you are unsure when you should be seen next, we encourage you to call our office.
Consistent follow-up allows our providers to monitor your progress, assess any side effects, and make adjustments when needed to keep your treatment both safe and effective.
2. Laboratory Work Policy
Certain wellness appointments require laboratory work to be completed at least 8 days prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows adequate time for your provider to thoroughly review your results before your visit.
Appointments that typically require laboratory work include:
-
New Patient Weight Loss Appointments
-
New Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Appointments
-
Follow-up HRT Appointments
-
Any appointment where your provider specifically requests laboratory testing
Patient Responsibility: It is the patient's responsibility to complete all required laboratory work on time. Please reach out to our clinic if you need a copy of your lab order. Failure to complete laboratory testing at least 8 days before your appointment may result in your appointment being canceled or rescheduled.
3. No-Show & Late Cancellation Policy
To provide the highest level of care and accommodate all clients, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests.
-
Late Fees: Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, will be subject to a $100 no-show/late cancellation fee.
-
Reminders: Appointment reminders are provided as a courtesy; however, it remains the client's responsibility to keep track of their scheduled appointments. Failure to receive a reminder does not waive this policy.
-
Clinic Dismissal: Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in dismissal from the clinic at the discretion of management.
Thank you for respecting our providers' time and allowing us to provide timely care to all of our valued clients.
