What to Expect

Your appointment will begin with an evaluation of your tattoo. You will numb an hour prior to your appointment in our clinic. During treatment, you may feel a quick snapping or stinging sensation as the laser targets the ink. Afterward, the area may appear red, swollen, tender, or temporarily frosted, and some blistering or scabbing may occur during healing. Multiple sessions are typically needed and are spaced 6-8 weeks apart to allow your skin to heal and your body time to clear the treated ink. Your provider will review aftercare instructions and recommend the best treatment schedule for you.
